Adina (mbd)

Adina, ad'-;-nå (Heb.)–ornament; slender; delicate.

Son of Shiza the Reubenite; a chief of the Reubenites, and one of David's captains (I Chron. 11:42).

Meta. A perceptive, discerning, seeing thought of the mind (ornament, .slender; a chief man of the Reubenites, and Reuben refers to the sense of sight). This thought is of a harmonizing, attracting nature because the loving idea (Shiza) is back of it.
