Edomites, e'-dom-ltes (fr. Heb.).

Esau's descendants (Gen. 36:9). They lived in the southern part of Palestine, and later were enemies of the Israelites (Num. 20:18). They were conquered by David and became servants to him (II Sam. 8:14).
