Jah, jäh (Heb.)–unchangeable; eternal; everlasting; Lord; Jehovah; He.

A shortened or poetical form of Jehovah (Psalms 68:4, margin). While Jah is accepted as a contraction of Jehovah, it is really one of the most ancient expressions attached to Deity.
