Jamin, ja'-min (Heb.)–right hand; right place; proper; the south, i. e., on the right when facing the Orient; east; good fortune; productiveness; prosperity; happiness; dexterity.

a One of Simeon's sons (Gen. 46:10). b Son of ”Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel,” of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 2:27). C One of those who “caused the people to understand the law,” when Ezra read it to them (Neh. 8:7).

Meta. Thoughts pertaining to divine order; also to executive ability, strength, power, skill (right hand, right place, dexterity). When such thoughts become active in consciousness they lead one to happiness, prosperity, abundant good.
