Mahalath (mbd)

Mahalath, ma'-ha-lath (Heb.)–beautifully adorned; mild; smooth, pleasing to the touch; rhythmic movements; sweet, harmonious sounds; dancers; singers; cithara; harp; lyre.

a Daughter of Ishmael, who became a wife of Esau (Gen. 28:9). b Daughter of Jerimoth, the son of David; she became Rehoboam's wife (II Chron. 11:18).

Meta. A peaceful, harmonious, light, rhythmically active, and tuneful attitude of the soul, expressing on the carnal or human plane of the soul consciousness, and also on a higher and more enlightened plane.
