Mizzah (mbd)

Mizzah, miz'-zah (Heb.) –flowing down; melting away; fear; terror; exhaustion; disintegration; dissolution.

A son of Reuel, and grandson of Esau (Gen. 36:13).

Meta. A steady tearing down and wearing away of the consciousness and organism (flowing down, melting away, disintegration, exhaustion, dissolution). This is the result of fear, fear being one of the most subtle and destructive errors that the carnal mind in man contains. It is overcome by divine love, which knows only the good. “There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love” (John 4]]:18).
